Our client specialise in providing sales aid leasing solutions to a wide range of market sectors, partnering with and allowing their clients to significantly enhance the sales of their products by adding affordable lease options to their offering.

Their dealers require a high level of service and support. The Internal Account Manager is responsible for generating business directly and supporting the external account managers.

The role of an Internal Account Manager (IAM), is an entry level sales role which could be used to springboard into a full External Sales role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a portfolio of dealers to generate new business yourself
  • Call new and existing database of dealers to generate new relationships.
  • Look for new opportunities for dealer relationships
  • Chasing acceptances
  • Assess potential of dealers
  • Provide regular MI to suppliers

Other Typical Work Activities will involve:

  • Rate Quotes
  • Liaise with individual internal and external sales people in dealers
  • Chasing docs outstanding
  • Developing relationship with dealers
  • Dealer visits
  • Ring dealers to ask for business and opportunities
  • Promote incentives
  • Research Customers details for proposal
  • Arrange for the external to see one of your dealers if required.
  • Advising Dealers of acceptance/decline of finance proposals
  • Admin training if required
  • Feedback on service, rates and other market intelligence
  • Pass all other queries to Admin Team

Person Specification:

The individual must be proactive and have a clear focus on producing proposals and new business.

They will work in conjunction with a partnered Field Account Manager to cultivate existing relationships, but also be responsible for delivery of their own new business target.
