Description:

We have a tremendous opportunity for an experienced commercial mortgage broker / business developer with a finance broking background to join the UK’s leading provider of SME finance. They provide commercial finance solutions to SME businesses all across the UK, from their own unsecured lending products to broking commercial mortgages from the wider UK secured lending market.

This is a home/field-based opportunity, you will pop into one of our client’s offices a few times a month.

Key Skills

• Arrange debt funding for clients from first-time buyers to well experienced SME operators – sole traders to incorporated companies across most SME markets
• Generate business from our client’s database of SME operators and from professional introducers
• Maximise internal lending and external lending volumes from our client’s own funds and the wider commercial mortgage market
• Maximise fee income from client and bank fees
• Create close working relationships with clients to maximise Group cross-selling opportunities in commercial mortgages, asset finance and short term unsecured loans
• Prepare and submit credit applications for finance to lenders
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with lending institutions and referral partners

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, ambitious and have a proven track record of achievement within a busy, fast paced finance sales environment.

Whilst a previous record of successful commercial mortgage sales experience is desirable, we will also welcome dynamic financial sales professionals with a strong business development background.
