Our client is a global provider of commercial asset finance and leasing financial solutions across a wide range of industries.

This is a home / field-based role in the South East of England.  Relevant leasing experience is vital, either in a funder, broker or reseller environment.  We’ll consider driven internal sales people as well as those based in the field.

Salary: up to £50,000 depending on experience plus bonus and a range of excellent benefits and development opportunities, as you’d expect from a forward thinking organisation of this size.

As an Account Manager in our client’s Office Technology team you will be knowledgeable in, and proud to take ownership of, the three main stages of building business relations with all of our client’s technology-provider suppliers and partners: 

– recruiting new business relationships

– development of newly acquired partners 

– ongoing long-term account management

Day-to-day tasks and experience required: 

• Initiate, develop and grow new business relations using a range of contacts, referrals and direct channels: to have the confidence to cold call, use social media intuitively and network for good referrals 

• We expect you to design and lead your own marketing initiatives to formulate sales objectives, showing resourcefulness and self-motivation 

• A thorough understanding of the ‘prospect funnel’ and a respect for the time taken to nurture and develop relationships at each stage 

• A thorough understanding of the partner supply chain, routes to market ‘best practices’, policies and compliance issues, paired with a fine eye for detail 

• Excellent account management experience, including pipeline and portfolio management, data analysis and multi-level contact strategies 

Essential: 

• Solid experience in exceptional corporate business relationship-building through confidence, tenacity and attention to detail 

• First-hand knowledge of leasing, or associated areas, such as selling leasing for vendors or partners 

• Proven communication skills at all levels in business 

• Experience of using social media, paired with comprehensive researching skills 

We are seeking a candidate who is confident dealing at a high level, whilst being analytically-minded and comfortable working on complex finance transactions.
