Our client have been established for over quarter of a century and specialise in providing equipment finance solutions to businesses across the UK.

The business is constantly looking at ways to develop its sales force. Under their newly introduced sales training scheme, an individual will be nurtured for a minimum of [15] months under the dedicated guidance of the Business Development Manager. 

This will be a dedicated training scheme. The outcome our client hope to achieve will be a fully trained person who is then capable of going out and taking on a territory of their own and developing a career with them.

Job Description:

• To provide support to the Business Development Manager through learning how to produce quotes to suppliers and customers, calling customers to obtain relevant information and to process that information to send to Sales Support.

• Learn how to engage with suppliers to generate more business, feed back decisions and requests for further information.

• Learn how to provide customers and suppliers with appropriate financial products and the benefits of such products.

• Deal with BDM’s calls.

• Learn how to identify new suppliers.

• Learn how to use a financial calculator to produce lease quotes and how our client prices business using cost of funds and margins.

• Learn how to sell our client’s products, be totally confident in understanding their documentation, the legal requirements and language. 

• Be familiar with the FCA requirements that regulate their business. 

• Learn the basics of credit underwriting and what deals fit.

• Understand how other funders operate and how our client brokers deals to maximise the customers potential.

The above will be achieved by being a dedicated resource to the BDM 

Candidate Qualities

A minimum of two A levels in any subject, preferably a graduate. 

Crucial to have sales qualities which will include an out-going personality, articulate, numerate, drive and energy and a desire to earn a good salary and be involved in a substantial industry. 

Must be a quick learner, work well under pressure. 

Must be able to work in a result driven environment.

Potential Candidates need to be able to easily commute to Witney Oxford, be prepared to travel to see customers and visit our client’s head office in Oldham, have their own car, and have a flexible approach to the work place.
