Who: our client are the finance division of a global manufacturer of construction machinery.

Salary: £22k plus bonus of up to 15% (performance linked), 25 days holiday (increasing with service) and many other great benefits.

Job description:

This role involves developing business (via inbound calls & warm leads).

You will work with our client’s sales team based in dealerships around the country and our client’s field-based sales team and office-based Direct Sales Team to maximise sales potential by assisting dealer sales personnel in converting leads generated from digital channels including website, e-commerce and social media to new machine orders.

You will need to be organised and tenacious, liaising with their dealer sales people, passing on leads and ensuring they take up leads with customers.

The ideal candidate will have telesales experience – financial services would be beneficial but isn’t essential.

You will need the aptitude to learn quickly about machinery and products.

You must be comfortable working independently with little supervision.


  • Produce sales volumes, contributing to the overall Company sales target.
  • Maintain and develop quality Customer/Dealer relationships in order to maximise repeat business opportunities
  • Full sales engagement – managing sales leads from company website, digital marketing and social media activities. Handling transactions below a cost price of £20K including on-boarding, underwriting, money laundering and identity checks. Delivering documents either via internal system or the dealer sales person completing on our behalf
  • Build and maintain relationships with the Direct Sales, Underwriting and Sales Support Team in order to maximise efficiency to assist in securing sales
  • Build and maintain relationships with the relevant Dealer Sales team, helping to coach and assist in using finance to sell sales techniques dealer point of sale finance pricing tool
  • Directly or working with dealer sales person, identify and present information on the most appropriate finance options when required in order for the customer to make informed decisions
  • Work together/mutual co-operation and organisation to ensure seamless customer experience/service
