Business Development Manager - Oxfordshire

Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £25,000 (depending on experience) + commission + non-contributory pension
Job Type: Full time, office-based
Description: Our client have been established for over quarter of a century and specialise in providing equipment finance solutions to businesses across the UK.

In-line with business growth they are keen to take on a driven sales executive to work from their offices in Witney, Oxfordshire.

To begin with you will focus predominately on developing new asset finance & leasing business from their existing database. Over time this remit will extend to new customers, developing your own portfolio of accounts and working to build relationships & grow revenue from each one.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow and develop your own prospect client base by proactive sales pipeline management and outbound calling
  • Identify and maximise cross-selling opportunities with existing clients
  • Manage identified sales opportunities through the sales process
  • Update info on the in-house CRM System
  • Mainly office based but client visits as required

Key characteristics:

  • Previous sales experience, ideally B2B
  • Experience gained in Financial Services would be beneficial but isn’t essential as full training will be given
  • Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Ambitious and hard working
  • High attention to detail
